Terms of Service

1. Who can use Life24

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Children under 13 may only use Life24 on a device managed by a parent or legal guardian who has created the account, agreed to these terms and consented to our Privacy Policy on the child’s behalf. If you are between 13 and 18, a parent or guardian must review these terms with you.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for everything that happens under your account.
• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You may delete your account at any time. See Delete account.

3. Family circles and location sharing

Life24 lets you share your live location, saved places, tasks and pet details with the members of a family circle you create or join. By joining a circle you agree that its other members can see this information while sharing is on.

• Only invite people who have agreed to share their location with you, and only join circles of people you trust.
• Never use Life24 to track a person without their knowledge and consent. Doing so may be illegal and will result in termination of your account.
• You can pause sharing or leave a circle at any time from the Family tab.
• Circle admins can remove members and delete saved places.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for stalking, harassment, surveillance of adults without consent, or any unlawful purpose;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to access it in ways other than through the apps we provide;
• reverse engineer, scrape or copy the Service, except where the law allows;
• upload content that is unlawful, abusive or infringes someone else’s rights.

5. Safety is not guaranteed

Life24 depends on your device’s GPS, battery, operating-system permissions and network connection. Locations can be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable, and alerts may be missed. Do not rely on Life24 as your only way to keep someone safe. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the names, places, tasks, photos and other content you add. You give us a licence to store, process and display that content only as needed to run the Service for you and your circle. We do not sell your content.

7. Our content

The Life24 apps, name, logo and website are owned by GoCodingNow and protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the apps on devices you own or control.

8. Third-party services

The Service uses third-party services such as Apple and Google sign-in, push notification delivery and map tiles. Their terms apply to your use of those features. Downloads from the App Store and Google Play are also subject to those stores’ terms.

9. Price

Life24 is currently free. If we introduce paid features we will tell you in advance, and any purchase will be handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms.

10. Changes and termination

• We may change or discontinue features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.
• You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the same extent, GoCodingNow is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from inaccurate or unavailable location data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
