Delete your account

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Life24 and sign in.
2. Go to the Family tab, then Account at the bottom (the family’s settings).
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and the data listed below are deleted immediately, and you are signed out on that device. There is no waiting period and nothing to confirm by email.

Can’t sign in?

If you no longer have access to the app or your sign-in, you can ask us to delete the account for you:

1. From the email address on your Life24 account, send a message to support@gocodingnow.com with the subject “Delete my Life24 account”.
2. We may reply to confirm it is really you. This protects your account from someone else deleting it.
3. We delete the account within 30 days of confirming the request and send you a final confirmation email.

You can also uninstall the app, but note that uninstalling alone does not delete your account or the data on our servers.

What gets deleted

• Your account: email, name and sign-in credentials, including the link to your Apple or Google account.
• Your latest location and your location trail.
• Your membership in any family circle. If you were the only member, the circle and its saved places are deleted too.
• Place arrivals and departures recorded for you.
• Tasks you created or were assigned, and pets you added.
• Push notification tokens for your devices.

What may be kept

• Content you shared with a circle that still has other members (for example a place you saved for the family) stays with that circle, but is no longer linked to you.
• Support emails you sent us, for up to 12 months, so we can follow up on your request.
• Records we must keep to comply with the law or resolve disputes.

Prefer to just stop sharing?

If you want to keep your account but stop sharing your location, pause sharing or leave your circle from the Family tab. Nothing is stored or shown while sharing is paused.
